Perfect Stopover Before the Ferry

I had a great one-night stay here after catching the ferry. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed that helped me get a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the full Welsh that was cooked to order and served piping hot. The hosts made everything easy, even arranging parking for my electric car. It was exactly what I needed before a long drive, but I would have loved a bit more variety in the breakfast options.

Just a reliable pick for a weekend breather in Fishguard with high value for money. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a great selection of channels on the TV. Bring some snacks for late-night munchies.

the stay started with a lovely strong odour of damp and stale air, which just sets the mood for a relaxing getaway. My towel rail didn’t work, leaving me to question if warmth was optional here. I really expected some form of complimentary gesture since I endured all this inconvenience, but guess that’s too much to ask.

Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly from check-in onwards.

Exceptional owners made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The breakfast options were generous and delicious, setting a lovely tone for my stay.

The proximity to the train line meant some noise, which occasionally disrupted sleep, especially for light sleepers.

Perfect for overnight travelers

The hosts were incredible, always accommodating and friendly! I even left a note for breakfast since we had an early start, but they took our orders anyway.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for the quality, I think it was fair enough.

The hotel is ideally placed very close to the ferry terminal, making it super convenient for travelers. The room was well stocked with beverages and towels, and the comfortable bed ensured a pleasant night’s sleep. Not to mention, the late honesty bar was a thoughtful addition after a long journey.

One small issue was that the room size could be a bit cramped for couples wanting more space.

Rooms could benefit from larger towel sizes!!! a bit more room space would make the stay significantly more comfortable for couples who are not petite. Don't overlook the little things that matter!!!
